(1) When we paint, try to use raw paper or waste newspaper to wipe, because these two kinds of paper have better absorbency and less residual pigment, less friction, and less damage to Artist Brush;

(2) After painting, we try to use warm water to soak the Artist Brush with a little detergent or soap, etc., and rub the Artist Brush in one direction in the palm of the hand until the paint is thoroughly washed;

(3) After washing it, try to let it dry by itself;

(4) After drying, we’d better use linen cloth, which is the kind of canvas we usually paint oil paintings, to wrap these Artist Brushes and tie up rubber bands at both ends. Why do we need to wrap it up with a cloth? It is because there will still be some oil remaining on our Artist Brush after washing, which is easily damaged by wind. Although it looks troublesome but it is quick to do. Treating Artist Brush well is to reduce our troubles when painting.
